Thank you for visiting Rhapsody Cavaliers. All of our cavaliers are well behaved, and very, very spoiled! Our home is their home. I served on the board of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club of Central Arizona for 15 years and am still a member of the CKCSCCAZ. I am a member of the American Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club (which is the AKC Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Parent Club). I am committed to health, temperament and quality in my cavaliers. I health test annually with board certified veterinary specialists.

All of our Cavaliers are pets first, they are in the house, lounging around, basically living the life of royalty!
Our Arizona Cavalier club organizes 4 all breed health clinics each year, and I have been the person organizing them since we initiated offering them to breeders in the valley over 15 years ago. Needless to say, I am a proponent of performing the important breed specific health tests on my Cavaliers.

My cavaliers have their eyes examined by a board certified ophthalmologist annually and have their hearts checked by a board certified cardiologist annually. They have their patella's checked, and have radiographs of their hips by the time they are 2 years old. They are either tested for EF & DE/CC or are clear by default (what that means is their parents and/or their grandparents are clear therefore the puppies will automatically be clear as well).

We are a very small kennel. In fact, I am not quite sure we could even be called a kennel! What we are is a home dedicated to being a cavalier breeder and exhibitor; breeding first and foremost for health and temperament; and of course, always striving to uphold the breed standard.
